The company has, over the past 30 years, established a reputation as a leading designer and manufacturer of racing and performance road wheels. This reputation has been built upon a unique understanding of the tradeoffs among weight, strength, stiffness, fatigue limits, and impact resistance.

Established in the early 1970s to supply magnesium one-piece wheels to Formula One, the company progessed to make wheels for all single seat race cars. It then developed the world's first magnesium motorcycle racing wheels for such riders as Barry Sheene and Eddie Lawson. Dymag designed the first one-piece carbon fiber motorcycle wheels in 1994, through creating a proprietary die-forming process.

Upon completion of factory testing on the new carbon designs, wheels were supplied to a factory endurance race team, which won the 2000 world championship.

Dymag then subjected the wheels to 3 seasons of 12 and 24 hour racing before releasing the wheels for sale.

Dymag is accredited to the UISO9001-2000 standard for the design and manufacture of carbon fiber, magnesium, and aluminum wheels and structural components. Carbon fiber wheels are DOT certified.

Of note, Dymag supplies Aston Martin with magnesium wheels for the Vantage and DB7 models, Callaway Corvette, Mitsubishi, Lotus, and TVR with magnesium wheels, and Ducati, KTM, Porsche, Mitsubishi, and Cadillac with carbon fiber wheels.

The testing, validation, and quantification performed by these companies runs in the thousands of pages, all of which goes to ensure and prove that Dymag produces the best-designed, best-manufactured wheels in the industry.
